I have spent years exploring new ways to make art with artificial intelligence, machine learning, code, and robotics. The work has included generative music, image and video systems, neural style transfer, and a custom-built drawing robot.
These experiments are less about automating creativity than building unfamiliar instruments: systems with enough structure to be directed and enough surprise to reveal something new.
